Nanakusagayu

Hello everyone.
It's been freezing days since New Year's Day.

We have seven spring herbs porridge on the 7th of January, called Nanakusagayu, for the good health throughout the year as a Japanese traditional custom.
The custom was originally introduced by China in Heian period.
There are seven spring herbs which are believed as protecting people against evils, and invite good lucks.

They will provide this Nanakusagayu to visitors at Gokounomiya jinja shrine on the 7th of January.
It is great chance to taste Japanese traditional custom!!

Date: January 7th
