Hiraoka Hachimangu Shrine Special Opening

The weather is getting (a little bit) cooler these days. We can feel autumn approaching and start thinking about the red leaves ... But lets keep on speaking about summery flowers.

A special opening at Hiraoka Hachimangu Shrine until the end of November will embellish your day with 44 splendid flowers drawings. They've been painted during Edo period on the ceiling, and preserved until now.

Access to the shrine : Kyoto bus n.8 from Shijo Karasuma (Google map, Bus timetable)
Fee : 600 yen
