Kibune Festival @Kibune Shrine
Ceremony of thanksgiving to honor the God of Water will be held at Kibune Shrine. Kibune village is older than Kyoto.
From around 11:00, prayers are offered for a good harvest.
At about 13:00 a mikoshi (portable shrine) is carried along the river.
And around 15:00 prayers are offered for the health of children.
Access to Kibune Shrine from Kyoto Hana Hostel
Keihan Line Shichijo station to Demachiyanagi station,
Eizan Electric Railways Demachiyanagi station to Kibune station.
Kyoto Bus Kibune-iki to Kibune bus stop.
Walk 20 minutes.

Jishu Matsuri
Hello everyone.
Sakura season has been over.
Have you visited any fun spots in Kyoto yet?
If not, Jishu Matsuri at Kiyomizu temple is coming on the 5th of May.
People who dressed up as ancient times such as close for woman, warrior (musha), children parade down ninen zaka street and sannen zaka street.
